Aha, but what would happen if we spoke like we (should) be writing?

Do we just sound pretentious, or do we become the greatest ever storyteller? Do we slow down so much that the audience loses interest, as we rack our brains for the perfect word, or does this, intentionally or not, build suspense?

As someone who is rubbish at conversation but better at writing and editing, I might give it a try!
