I agree that "home" is with loved ones. And it has a stronger pull once it's gone. I wish I could revisit my grandparents' house.

Weirdly, I never dream of being in my current house (where I've lived for 9 years), or my parents' current house, where I grew up. But I often dream of being in the flat my partner and I rented before we bought this house. That flat had lots of problems, and we were only there for about 4 years, but it's where I always end up in my dreams for some reason. Probably because I can't return to it, although I'm not sure I'd want to!
